Holalkere Mar. 01 Teachers need to do the work of instilling interest in science in children. Most students are only going towards engineering, dentistry, medicine, ITI, polytechnic, no one is coming towards science. We need to create an environment that instills interest in science in children from a young age,
said ISRO senior scientist Somesh.

Speaking after participating in the science exhibition Sneha Anveshan organized by the school as part of World Science Day celebrations at Sneha Public School in Hoora area of Holalkere town on Saturday , he said,
"Science has become a bedrock in all of our lives. It seems that our life does not exist without science.
We are experiencing the discoveries that science has given us today. Today we are reaping the fruits of the discoveries made by our senior scientists.
Our next generation will reap the discoveries we have made, but for the next
generation to experience the discoveries of science, today's children need to develop an interest in science."
Inaugurating the Sneha Anveshan, former Joint Director of GCTE, Guruprasad said, "
This kind of science exhibition is a platform to showcase the talent of children. Participating in this
is a suitable tool to showcase the unique knowledge hidden in children. Our scientists have provided great cooperation to the people by making dozens of
discoveries." Our governments
are also giving good cooperation and encouragement to this. This is increasing responsibility.
Children should not accept anything without asking questions, but
should learn about any subject in depth, ask questions and accept it after getting the correct answer. As a result of today's scientific discoveries, we can understand the world right from our seats, this is an achievement of science. Our country has also taken the third place in the world in launching
various planets, he said.

Retired Principal and Secretary of the Science Foundation, H.S.T. Swamy, said, "
You child scientists, your immense interest in science
can make you scientists in the future. If we put aside the Nobel Prize for our science field in 1930,
we have not received any award till now. Our scientists have been doing research but
have not received any award till now. No one has received a Nobel Prize in science after Sir C.V. Raman." He said, " We
need to imbibe the ideals and principles of Sir C.V. Raman. We need to instill self-confidence.
We also need to develop a scientific interest in science. Before becoming a teacher, we should learn about science.
He said that it is not right to teach science to children in school and then
tell them not to go out during Amavasya at home.
Sneha Public School President Manjunath, Secretary Vasanti, and Holalkere Taluk
Education Officer Srinivas participated in the program
. On this occasion, as part of the Science Day celebration, the school children made models of more than 250 different types
of inventions and exhibited them publicly, as well as
providing information about their uses.
